SD SD Serayu image as a favorite, should encourage teachers to develop mastery of information and communication technologies to support the learning process. But the fact that there remains a teacher who has not acclimated to master the Information and Communication Technology, causing problems for the teachers to improve learning Based on these problems, it is the goal of this study was to determine the motivation of primary school teachers in learning Serayu Yogyakarta and Communications and Information Technology also determine the role of Information and Communication Technology in improving the professionalism of teachers in elementary Serayu Yogyakarta In connection with the qualitative research has been done with a case study approach. Location of research in elementary Serayu Yogyakarta. The research subjects of this study were elementary school principals and teachers Serayu Yogyakarta. Research data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documents. Analysis of the data using qualitative analysis. The results showed that the school's policy in improving the professionalism of teachers through motivation given to elementary school teachers in Yogyakarta Serayu study Information and Communication Technology, among others, to send teachers to participate in training, refresher courses, seminars and workshops on ICT. Conducting training and socialization for all teachers to bring in resource persons. Encourage teachers to continue their studies to the level of education as determined by the government. Completing a variety of means and media that can support learning activities. Implement learning by using a variety of strategies and methods. Conducting study visits to other schools that are considered more advanced. The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in primary Serayu Yogyakarta in order to enhance learning method in the form of mastery of the Internet, the software system of educational administration, notebooks and LCD. SD Serayu Yogyakarta always develop policies that motivated the creation of competent and qualified teachers with indicators of teachers able memguasai Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is used as a learning model.
