Perbandingan Kebijakan terhadap Imigran di Denmark dan Swedia

2013 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalABSTRACT This research compares the fulfillment of immigrants’ rigths in Denmark and Sweden by examines the contents of two immigrant integration policies in both countries. The policies that are being examined in this research are the policy of immigrant integration introductory programs and the policy of access to nationality. Denmark is known as a country with some strict policies towards immigrant, meanwhile Sweden is known as one of the “immigration country” in Europe, because Sweden receives more immigrants than most European Countries. This research divided the policies into two categories, inclusive or exclusive, based on Diane Sainsbury’s concept and indicators of inclusive or exclusive immigrant integration policies. Sainsbury’s indicators categorized policies as inclusive if overall of the contents simplify immigrant integration process to the host society. Meanwhile policies are exclusive if the contents limiting immigrant integration process to the host society. Inclusive policies tend to be more accommodating rights than exclusive policies. This research will give deeper insight about whether the well known strict immigration country Denmark is all about exclusive immigrant integration policies and limiting immigrants’ right or whether the “immigrant friendly” Sweden is all about inclusive immigrant integration policies and accommodating immigrants’ rights.
