ABSTRACT Terrorismisanon-traditional crimethat be security threatsinthe internationalworld. Terorisemealsobe aseriousthreatinIndonesiasince theBalibombing tragedy. Therefore, the governmenttook measures tostrengthenthe defenseandhomeland securityby establishing SpecialDetachment88. In theestablishment ofspecialDetachment88, AmericanandAustraliadirectly involved.In the developmentof foreigninvolvementimpact on thehandling ofterrorisminIndonesia.This then resulted inboth positive andnegativeimpacts.
