ABSTRACTION This study entitled Case Studies of Media Convergence Using New Media In Activity Pamityang2an Qwerty Radio Broadcasting . The research was conducted on Pamityang2an Qwerty Radio , an internet -based radio in Yogyakarta . This study aims to determine the convergence of media practices conducted by Qwerty Pamityang2an Radio in broadcasting activities . The method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach . Interesting case is Pamityang2an Qwerty Radio . An internet -based radio that uses new media broadcasting activities . Objects in this study is Pamityang2an Qwerty radio broadcasters . To support this research data is then conducted observations and interviews with people who play a role in the radio broadcasting activities . Data analysis techniques used in this study is a qualitative analysis refers to the analysis of primary and secondary data in the main form . To obtain validity of the data this study used data triangulation as examiner technique . This technique facilitates researchers to analyze and map the role and functions of the broadcasting activities of Radio Qwerty Pamityang2an .
