Abstract Companies are required responsiveness to issues , because the issues can affect the performance of the company . The issue is the origin of the crisis . The emergence of common issues because of the mismatch between public expectations with the work practices of the company. Therefore, every company is required to manage the issue . PTPN VII (Persero) as the leading plantation companies in Indonesia have been managing the issue . During the PTPN VII (Persero) faced by social welfare issues in society . Yet people feel prosperous and assume that PTPN VII (Persero) has not contributed adequately to society . In fact during the PTPN VII (Persero) has provided assistance to the community . But help is still not able to meet the wishes of the people . This has resulted in a mismatch of social welfare issues developing in masyarakat.Ternyata social welfare issues have adversely affects the company , namely the theft cases . Of course this could not be allowed , because it is very detrimental to the company . This study was conducted to clarify how the action strategy and communications made PTPN VII (Persero) in managing social welfare issues . Results of this study indicate that PTPN VII (Persero) to implement management issues using public relations strategies and communication actions on society , media and other stakeholders . This strategy has been able to reduce the growing social welfare issues and is very influential on the decline in the theft case estates.
