ABSTRACT Nuclear cooperation between Russia and Iran forged reap a wide range of criticism from the United States, Israel and other allies. Development of nuclear technology held by Iran is considered as Iran's efforts to strengthen the country's military. Although Iran has repeatedly asserted that the program is purely for peaceful purposes as an alternative energy. Although criticism has been given such sanctions even to the threat of missile attacks from Israel, Russia and Iran will continue their partnership forged today. And from year to year there is always progress in Iran's nuclear development program. Cooperation of Russia and Iran makes it clear that Russia has helped Iran to become the country because most of the potential power of Iran after the establishment of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a help from Russia instead of worsening Iran-US relations after the establishment of the Republic. And once again, this partnership is creating tensions in the Middle East. With the strengthening of Russia and the Russian-Iranian cooperation, it has created a new force in the Middle East can be a balancer against US, Israel and its allies. Russian-Iranian cooperation has created a new multi-polar power constellation of world politics in addition to China. This cooperation can match the interests of the United States who has been a singular force for this. However, until now there is still no crisis that endangers or constellation of armed conflict in the Middle East region as a result of Russian and Iranian nuclear cooperation.
