ABSTRACT Green Party is one of the political parties that exist in Australia. The party is included in the left-wing party. The party was formed in 1992 in Sydney, but its origins can be traced to the early environmental movement in Australia. Founder of the Green Party is Bob Brown who then makes the Green as the National Party in 1992. Green Party leaders today is Senator Christine Milne and Adam Bandt as his deputy. Since its founding, the party's policy has been expanded from an exclusively environmentalism then start putting policies in tune with the philosophy of democracy, social justice, conservation, and the peace movement. More than 1.6 million Australian residents to vote in federal elections in 2010 and the level of such support is growing very fast. More than four decades of Green Party has become the third force in Australian politics Green Party has gained a place in Australian politics with the increasing number of votes for the Green Party from 2001 to the 2010 election resulted in a trend elektibility Green Party politics in Australia.
