ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is recognizing the role of Public Relations division of PT Nestle Indonesia in communicating the Creating Shared Value to their publics. This research use descriptive study case method. In order to answer the question, the methodology triangulation approach is used in this research by applying many sources of data like interviews and documents. The results of this research that can be concluded expressed that the mindset of PT Nestle Indonesia management has big impact and determined the attitudes of Public Relations of PT Nestle Indonesia in communicating the Creating Shared Value to their publics. This happens because there is only short chain between Public Relations and PT Nestle Indonesia top management in the company. Moreover, based on 4 models of Public Relations practices by Grunig and Hunt, Public Relations of PT Nestle Indonesia tends to apply two-way asymmetrical model. Public Relations of PT Nestle Indonesia is also have technical and managerial role in the company because they are not involved in making the Creating Shared Value programs and it is only limited to communicate the Creating Shared Value toward their publics.
