Peran Siaran Ratih TV Selamat Pagi Kebumen dan Berita Kebumen terhadap Perwujudan Kesadaran Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Pembangunan Daerah

ABSTRACT The research was conducted in the village of Gandusari, Kuwarasan District, Kebumen Regency, Central Java, was background by the Local Public Broadcasting of Kebumen Television (Ratih TV) in carrying out the mission of public disclosure. Ratih TV, as local television become a media/bridging for people to be able to communicate with the government. The government also can provide information about their policies to share to public. One of the success factors is when a government program to get the response and participation of the community. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the role of Ratih TV broadcast "Selamat Pagi Kebumen" participatory consciousness to the realization of mutual help Gandusari village. The method used is qualitative descriptive. In this study, qualitative descriptive used to know and explore more about the role of Ratih TV and the implications for "the spirit of citizenship". Interviews were conducted with key persons, especially from Ratih TV and Gandusari villagers. The selection of the sample were interviewed using purposive sampling and snowball sampling is deliberately on account of uptake has many sources of information that can be used in answering the research question. The results showed positive effect from Ratih TV broadcast "Selamat Pagi Kebumen" and "Berita Kebumen" the awareness of the public participation Gandusari villagers. Some of the actions carried out by the community as a manifestation of people's participation in local development, in particular the arrangement of neighborhoods.
