ABSTRACT This study examines the leadership style in the Implementation Assistance Program (PKH) in Kulon Progo by comparing the leadership style of M and escort companion in District Girimulyo SP and SS in District Nanggulan companion. There are two things that encourage researchers conducted this study. First, with regard to the awarding of cooperation and co-operator obtained Kulon Progo. Secondly, with regard to the difference between the number of extreme RTSM Girimulyo District (399 RTSM) and Nanggulan District (94 RTSM). Secondly it is encouraging this research, so this research question is "How does leadership style comparison chaperone assistance in the implementation of PKH PKH in Kulon Progo?". This study uses the perspective of leadership style and approach behavior. Leadership style is reviewed by two indicators: RTSM group mobilization and effort Companion. Behavioral approaches are reviewed through three indicators: authority, communication, and monitoring. The third indicator approach this behavior will affect the behavioral approach what used companion, whether authoritarian, democratic, or liberal. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive type of informants among others, the chaperone CCT, Head of Social Disnakertrans Kulon Progo, Coordinator. PKH operator Kulon Progo, health centers and school district officials Girimulyo, and RTSM Girimulyo District and District Nanggulan. Methods of data collection were interviews, observation, literature review, and unstructured observation. Results of the study show that there are differences in leadership styles between the CCT chaperone escort SS (District Nanggulan) with M companion and escort SP (District Girimulyo). SS companion using high labor leadership style and high compactness with the behavior of a democratic approach. While the leadership style and escort companion M SP using high labor leadership style with low compactness approach authoritarian behavior. There are some suggestions proposed in this study: First, infrastructure development needs to be done in the District Girimulyo. Second, a need for additional personnel escort. Third, monitoring should not be done by involving RTSM. Meanwhile, the need for the District Nanggulan enforcement authority along with the involvement of RTSM-RTSM because of the CCT, RTSM must be accommodated.
