The potential crisis at the company is almost time targeting enterprise whether from inside or outside company. One of the companies that were hit by the crisis are PT Pupuk Kaltim, known as the Biggest Chemical Fertilizer Industry in Indonesia which have high cost, high tech and high risk. Clearly say reasonable because the establishment of a company continuously always involves a lot of people, and not be denied, that the company grow and thrive in a society that has all sorts of rules. Growing companies need to expand the development of the project area, which is one of its development activities through dredging activities. However, suddenly appear dismissal of the action project and Fishes Death Claim Letter submissions made by several groups of fishermen in Tanjung Limau to the Public Relations Department of PT Pupuk Kaltim. The claim states that dredging activities carried out by PT Pupuk Kaltim has resulted in contamination of the water around the fish cages owned by fishermen. Thus, NGO as container aspirations of fishermen groups in Tanjung Limau demanding compensation for the death of fish in the cages of the fishermen. However, the case has drawn public attention to the presence of unwanted political intervention (Bontang Parliament and Local Government) which further worsen the situation. Of course, the case has been regarded as a crisis because it has caused a lot of harm and threaten the existence and reputation of PT Pupuk Kaltim as the project owner. Starting from the background to these problems, this study aims to determine the crisis management strategy implemented by the Public Relations Department of PT Pupuk Kaltim for managing Fish Death Claim cases in Tanjung Limau. In addition, researcher is trying to figure out the implementation of crisis resolution programs also criticizing the lack of crisis management systems that have been implemented. Researcher is using qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques through interviews and literature.
