Adaptasi Model Negara Kesejahteraan Swedia

2012 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalAfter the World War, The Swedish Welfare State Model was once recognized as one of the most universal and generous welfare state in the world. It extensively provides the social and welfare services for its citizens in almost all of their life aspects, from education, health, until employment benefits. However, started in the 1970s, the system underwent a lot of changes as its way to adapt with the domestic and international dynamic. This research is aimed to identify significant factors that challenged the Swedish Model and relate those factors to the changes of its system. Important finding of this research is that there were at least 3 challenges the model had to face, which are the demographic change, the economic globalization, and the competition among two Swedish dominating political parties.
