Upaya Pembangunan Pertahanan India Di Bawah Pemerintahan Manmohan Singh Dalam Menyikapi Isu-Isu Keamanan Di Asia

Nowadays, Asia continent is facing a lot of security issues, such as armed and nuclear races, terrorism and many more. India as one of the biggest countries in Asia realized that being more threaten by those issues. Beside of that, India under the government of Manmohan Singh is largely developing their military capability. During this development, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made so much development efforts for his nation’s defense. The efforts are not only being focused in domestic area, but also in international area. Because of these efforts, Indian military capability has increased and become one of the most powerful nations in Asia. The Indian’s defense development can be caused by the security issues in Asia, especially border dispute and armed race issues with its neighbors like Pakistan and China. The other side, India also is threatening by international security issues in Asia like terrorism and maritime piracy on Malacca Straits and Indian Ocean. Because of those issues, it is so reasonable if India develop its military and nuclear powers. And the Indian’s development military capability during Manmhonan Singh governance is the largest development efforts so far.
