Firstly, Australia support Timor-Timur for integrating and become a part of Indonesia Republic at 1975. But lately, Australia changed their political views. Australia become the first country which want Timor-Timurseparate with Indonesia and become anindependent country. The changed of Australia’s foreign policy made the Indonesian Government surprised. It is caused by the changed of Australia’s Leadership. Besides that, the decision making process of the Australia’s foreign policy was influenced by the background of the newAustralia’s prime minister, John Howard , and also his personality. Including their political view for Timor-Tmur. More further, the decision making process of the Australia’s Foreign Policy in Timor-Timurwasfor reachingthe Australia’s national interest. Which means, for Australia, Timor-Timur have many potention for helping Australia to reachtheir national interest, especially for global economic, for theirbetter future.
