Kebijakan Putin Terhadap gerakan Separatisme Chechnya Di Rusia (2000-2005)

Chechnya Movement is a separatist movement who dream independence from Russia. Chechnya movement has been exist since The Tsar period. When Uni Soviet fall down, many countries ex-Uni Soviet declarate their own independences. So do Chechnya. They want to declaration their independence, but Yeltsin (Russia President that time) won’t to give them freedom. And its make a War between Russia and Chechnya. There have been two prominent wars in which the Chechnya turned into a belligerent to their fight for independence. Until now, Chechnya still a part of Federalism of Russia. Everytime President change in Russia, it mean policy about Chechnya changes too. When Putin lead Russia, policy about separatist movement like Chechnya, increasingly strong. Russia goverment do a repressive actions to silence Chechnya Movement. That’s why Putin and his hardline policy interesting to discuss, in the other side He knows if Repressive actions, No-Negotiation, and strick policy just make Chechnya movement became stronger and dangerous.
