2011 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalThis thesis is discussing about the issue of ethnonationalism movement of Mongol struggle in Inner Mongolia for their independence from China Republic and how it externalized into transnational activism. It aims for deeper analysis about externalizing process of the issue and the assertions of minority group, also transnational activism by non-state actors whether involved directly or not in this case. This issue has been succeeded in its externalizing process because of reframing action by non-state actors with the model of frame extention. Frame extention is part of ‘The Local in The Global: Externalizing Contention’ as transnational activism. There are three topics of discussion. First, conflict mobilization of Mongol ethnopolitic in Inner Mongolia and responses of Chinese government towards the ethnonationalism movement. Second, the relation of globalization, human rights, rights of self-determination, and the process of externalizing the movement issue in the term of transnational activism with The Boomerang Model concept. Third, responses of international society and the challenge for the movement.
