The main purpose of this thesis is to explain about interest conflict in climate change negotiation. The concern is interest conflict between JUSSCANNZ versus AOSIS about Kyoto Protokol. As a global issue, climate change will create threats for all countries in the world. Sea level rise, changing weather patterns, floods and famines, increased uncertainty, but also opportunities in terms of incentives, financing, efficiency, and competitiveness. Therefore, this thesis will attempt to answer these questions; ‘How can Kyoto Protocol cause interest conflict between JUSSCANNZ versus AOSIS?’ and ‘Why does interest conflict can happen between JUSSCANNZ versus AOSIS in the Kyoto Protocol?’ Ultimately, there are three focuses in this research. First, explain the climate change negotiation after Kyoto Protocol. Second, arguing about the Kyoto Protocol, JUSSCANNZ position, and AOSIS position in the Kyoto Protokol.
