SEX TOURISM DI THAILAND TINJAUAN PERSPEKTIF FEMINISME

Behind the success of Thailand's tourism today that cannot be separated from sex tourism. Sex tourism in Thailand emerged against the background of South East Asian geopolitical situation with the Western military. Seeing a pretty strategic location of Thailand, Thailand's territory becomes a resting area for American soldiers called the Rest and Recreation (R & R). Meanwhile later, R & R in Thailand has been successful to bring a huge benefit, especially when combined R & R in Thailand's tourism. Nevertheless, it remains a big profit is not equal with the sacrifice of the women of Thailand. Below of the patriarchy and racism structure, Thai women have been co-modified in sex tourism.
