The industrial sector, particularly wooden furniture from Jepara required to adapt to survive in free competition to meet the needs of the global market. To manage investment activities in the Jepara wood furniture sector, the government made a policy to manage all investment activities and provide a clear legal protection for investors and provides certainty for potential investors in this sector. The the issuance of Capital Investment Law No. 25 year 2007 concerning Capital Investment which is a policy to manage all investment activities in Indonesia has a significant influence for the Jepara wood furniture industry, both in terms of increased employment, increased activities of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises and export trading activities. In this paper the author wants to answer the question that what influence of these capital investment law for the wood furniture local industry in Jepara and what response of Jepara Local Government deal with these policy in response of the increasing number of investment in Jepara Regency and how these response of the local goverment of Jepara has provided enough room to move freely or fairly burdensome for investors and investment activities in the wood furniture sector?.
