The main purpose of the thesis is discussing about how minority and majority groups can live together peacefully. The concern is Korean immigrants ethnic who lives in Yanbian Korean Autonomus Prefecture, Province of Jilin. International media always shows ne gative side of China minority treatment and policy to their minority groups, for example China government treatment to Tibet ethnic and Uyghur ethnic. On the other hand, Korean immigrant ethnic show the contrast. Korean immigrant ethnic live peacefully with the majority ethnic group and get success in China. Therefore, this thesis will attempt to answer this question; Why Korean immigrant group, as one of Chinas’ minority ethnic groups, adoptions and live peacefully, so they get success and new identity in China?. The key factor of mode incorporation of Korean immogrant group with majority group in China is influenced by Contexts of Korean immigration, China government policies, Korean cultures, and the class backgrounds of Korean Immigrant ethnic group, and Korean generation in China. After key factor of mode incorporation is traced, then model of social-cultural adaptation of Korean immigrants group in China can be identified as assimilation strategy of social-cultural adaptation. In conclusion, there will be two focuses in the research. First, explaining the key factor of mode adaptation of Korean immigrants in China. Second, clarifying the dualism identity of Korean immigrants group which affects their preference of adaptation strategy. Keywords: China, Korean immigrants ethnic group, assimilation
