LATAR BELAKANG INDONESIA MENANDATANGANI ASEAN CHINA FREE TRADE AGREEMENT

ASEAN China Free Trade Area (AC-FTA) was a challenge for the domestic economic condition in Indonesia. The Government faced a dilemmatic problem whether to agree to sign the AC-FTA or not. Each decision would bring consequences to the economic condition in Indonesia. At the end, Indonesia had decided to sign the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Cooperation between the ASEAN and People’s Republic of China through its former president, Megawati Soekarno Putri. This agreement was signed on November 4th 2002. This decision was taken as the influences from both national and international level. Key words: AC-FTA, national level, international level
