This thesis will discuss how the Indonesian mass media make the relations construction between Indonesia and Malaysia to overcome the Ambalat case and Indonesian culture claim (Pendet dance). Furthermore, in progress, there will be discussed about the construction impact to the Indonesian foreign policy for Malaysia. The theory used in mechanism relation of Indonesian mass media and the construction impact is Agenda Setting Theory, which is explained by Maxwell McCombs and Donald Shaw that the public tended to think important when media believe that something is important, and conversely, if the media think not significant, neither do the public. The other illustration stated by Concentric – power circle theory, a concept popularized by Marx and Michael smith which define about the relation between policy makers who have the great power in Decision Making Process.
