Restrukturisasi Capitalist Developmental Jepang sebagai Respon terhadap Globalisasi Studi Kasus: Aliansi Nissan-Renault

The definition include a very strong institutional linkage within bureaucracy and bussines, and a balance a competition and coordination among Japanese firms. Japan’s model shaped by unique characeteristics : lifetime employment and keirestu system. Japan’s capitalist development model was so loosely applied since late 1980’s, in tangible of signs; MITI’s role declining, decrease function of industrial policy, and lifetime employment’s elimination. The existence of external preasure from USA, Western Europe and International Organization since 1970’s seriously impact to it’s economic slump into bottom in 1990’s. Plaza Accord was the main reason of yen’s significant appreciation. SII, bilateral agreement between USA and Japan has driven a pressure japan’s government to design structural reform, focusing corporate restructure and efficiency optimalization. Nissan was famous Japanese automotive manufacturer had a mount of debt, in 1999 buy out by Renault, foreign auto maker. The Nissan-Renault alliance is a case study how corporate adjustment (micro) and policy reform (macro) could interacted and capitalist developmental state model isn’t eliminated, but reforming and adapting.
