Perkembangan Peran Militer dalam Politik Myanmar

The Myanmar Armed Forces’ involvement in politics, has been happened since independence struggle era. This involvement then culminated during Ne Win New Order period, and it still continued now. There are many demands from society to withdraw armed forces’ from their previously active and direct role in Politics. The Myanmar society wanted their armed forces returned to its traditional military role, to ensure the defense and security of the country, and also to leave their civilian role. Until now, there is no significant result comes from the recent government, which the Rezime it self. This paper then would explain about the urgency of military politics reform and also the prediction of future politics constellation after the second election.
