Kebijakan Pengembangan Nuklir Korea Utara Ditinjau dari Konsepsi Keamanan Tradisional

The North Korea’s nuclear crisis maybe is the most dangerous problem in the world. One side, this country is trying to develop nuclear weapons, but another side, it is facing starvation in domestic area. Even some area, it getting humanitarian emergence. In addition, there are a lot of pressures from international level like ceasing assistances from United State and South Korea, and also some sanctions from United Nation Security Council. But it doesn’t matter for this country proven with developing nuclear until now. Therefore, the thesis will attempt to answer these question; Why North Korea still develop nuclear weapon whereas there a lot of obstacle from domestic and international level? It is can be explained by this country’s vision that is influenced by traditional security conceptions. That vision are showed in psychological believes like Juche dan Military-first Politics. In addition, the historical background and regime security determine their vision that indicate secure and insecure situations for them. In sum, the vision that principle behind traditional security makes North Korea persistent to develop their nuclear programs. Key words: North Korea, Nuclear Crisis, Traditional Security
