Economy has been the central issue on globalization, even though globalization itself is a multi-dimensional issue. This statement confirmed by the fact that people mentioned IMF, WTO, and World Bank -all of them are economic institution- as “the pillars of globalization.” Globalization raises non-state actors, and Multi National Corporations (MNCs) is considered as the most influent one. MNCs granted with advantages of massive power of capital, technology, management system, and marketing skills. These advantages help MNCs in establishing affiliations with many countries, including Indonesia. Indonesia has been a host country for many MNCs, and one of them is PetroChina Company Limited which operates in oil and natural gas sector.
