International political economy was signed by international trade that is more effective by the present of mass media to promote commodities and services. The consequences of publication sensitive issues such racial, religion, and political issues by mass media liberalization threaten nation harmony i.e. disintegration. At the other hand,mass media are useful to develop economic growth and national interest. Singapore mass media which is under Internal Security Act (ISA) enacted at September 16, 1963 is not only to support national interest but also have many critics from many human right organizations, such as Asian Watch List and Freedom Press Global Survey. The displeased minority, the opposition party, and the foreign journalist that opposed ISA caused many conflict between government and mass media, especially foreign media. ISA pressured is more effective for domestic media, but less effective for foreign media.Domestic media are accustomed to self censorship, media monopoly and other restriction act, but foreign media are used to liberalization culture, such as the freedom of speech.
