Internal media is one of the most important instruments to hold a smooth internal communication. Most of the corporates have already produced it, but they have not realized the most important function of it. They only consider it as a public relations product or even as a management’s tool to persuade the internal stakeholders. As a consequence, it could not represent the management and employee relation equally. From this background, the question of this research is how Gapura, weekly tabloid of Semen Gresik, represents the management and employee relation in the 2nd term of the year 2005. The goal of this research is to know how Gapura represents the management and employee relation on its information and to know the obstacles experienced by Gapura in representing management and employee relation. This research uses quantitative approach. The research method used in this research is content analysis. This method is used to classify and conclude word or concept appearing in the text explicitly. The research result shows that Gapura produces information with heterogen characteristics. It could be seen from the headline, the format, the information sources, and also the problem range used in Gapura. Gapura also represents management and employee relations through several ways, such as the used of subject, information direction, information purpose, the flow of information, and also the information contents. From these ways Gapura represents management and employee relation as dominance, friendly and cooperative, or even task oriented relation. Unfortunately, Gapura could not implement the two way symmetric model in each text. The two way symmetric model in Gapura could only be seen in text series. Based on this research result, could be recommended that Gapura has to do a reposition. The staff of Gapura has to consider the most important function of Gapura in smoothing the internal communication in Semen Gresik. Gapura should implement the two way symmetric model in each text. Besides, it should represent the management and employee relation equally, so they will feel as the part of Gapura and will have a high sense belonging of Gapura. Gapura also should do research to evaluate its work. The last but not the least, Gapura should be made only for the internal stakeholders. Public relation of Semen Gresik should make another media for the external stakeholders, such as public relation of PT Semen Padang and PT Semen Tonasa.
