Pola Partisipasi Politik Warga Hispanik di Amerika Serikat

Political participation is a key for seeing the Hispanic condition in United States of America. Most Hispanic in United States has unfortunate social economic condition. Discrimination and poverty are major issues. It is should not happened in United States where democracy is essential thing. Hispanic can use their power in political participation for articulation and aggregation their interest. The last census shows that Hispanic has big portion (14%) in people’s composition. The research opened the mystery. Hispanic political participation is in low level. They know about politic and how political system work, but they don’t use it for political action. This political action such voting and public meeting can fix their condition. Economical reason defeat their interest in politic. What they need is economical things like job, health, and education access. Their background from immigrant and ethno class makes them say their interest difficultly. Almost a half of Hispanic is not United States citizens. It is a great barrier to involve in election. In addition, Hispanic is complex population. There are many backgrounds. Religion, generation, origin country, and language are some traits that divide Hispanic power. Finally, we can say that many barriers make Hispanic political participation low. The amount of parochial and subject is more than partisanship.
