Abstract This research aims to analyze the impact of REDD+ Demonstration Activities towards human security by focusing on one of the demonstration activities in Central Kalimantan, Kalimantan Forest and Climate Partnership (KFCP). Generally, the connection between human security and climate change could be seen through the direct impact of climate change. However, this research is trying to find an answer about how the demonstration activity (KFCP) that was ideally initiated to minimize that direct impacts toward human security of indigenous and local communities could probably give the negative impacts to the forest dependent communities. Each human security component connect to each other and probably affect other aspects.In brief, this research is doing a simple social impact measurement of the activities that were implemented, then find the connection to human security concept.
