Abstract Development of ecotourism has been regulated and stated by central government through Development Manual of Ecotourism in Region. This manual contains on principles of development of ecotourism in region. Appropriate to Regulation of Domestic Minister, thus local government has authority to regulate the management of ecoutourism in region. The purpose of this research was to know how is the development of ecoutourism in Sri Gethuk waterfall. Method of research used in this research used qualitative research method in order to get phenomena happened in development of ecoutourism in Sri Gethuk Waterfall. Techniques of data collection used were observation, interview, and documentation. Techniques of data analysis used were Data Reduction, Data Representation, Data Triangulation and conclusion withdrawing. From the result of research, thus it can be concluded that management of ecoutourism in Sri Gethuk waterfall is conducted by Rural Government through Village Owned Corporation. The development of ecoutourism in Sri Gethuk waterfall refers to Regulation of Domestic Minister Number 33 of 2009, includes Principles of Conservation, principle of education, principle of tourism, principle of economy, and principle of society participation. These principles had been conducted by the part of management and society, however in its implementation there has not been balanced to conduct, by reason the primary priority of part of management and society is on the enormous amount of income of which can be gained from the development of ecotourism. Thus principle of tourism and principle of economy in development of ecotourism in Sri Gethuk waterfall is more dominated to conduct by management and society, moreover Local Government always forces in order income of Sri Gethuk waterfall always increase in order the target of income of Regional Income has been stated by government from sector of tourism can be achieved.
