2017 | Tesis | Pembangunan Sosial dan KesejahteraanABSTRACT This research was done in KSU GEMI by taking rembug in Dusun Banyon and Dusun Kaliputih, Desa Pendowoharjo, Kecamatan Sewon, Kabupaten Bantul where social enterpreneurship has been applied by KSU GEMI for more than 5 years in this location. The informants of this research were the members of KSU GEMI who joined in Rembug Mekarsari, Rembug Kreatif Besek, central management, and also the management of Bantul KSU GEMI area. The aim of this research is to know the social enterpreneurship dynamics of KSU GEMI. In order to comprehend it, qualitative research method was applied by using descriptive interpretative approach. The discussion about enterpreneurship in human’s life is a matter that happened for long time. But, relating enterpreneurship with social goals is something new, mainly if that goals are gained by using the way how enterpereneurship in general is executed. Related to this social enterpreneurship, various efforts had been done by government, academic, NGO and other society groups in orders to actualize the social prosperity through social entrepreneurship activity in many kinds of life aspect. The existence of cooperation also support social enterpreneurship activity. It is not only in the matter or of giving benefits or not, but a business organization also has social orientations. More than that, it is important to comprehend the phenomena that was done by KSU GEMI as social entreprise, the changes that were made by the management of KSU GEMI, rembug and social entrepreneur itself, so it gives effects to themselves and society. Based on the reserach, the researcher found that; firts, the balance between social development AND business finance at the implementation level of KSU GEMI management as social entreprise and social entrepreneur have relationship with the sustaianability of social orientations of KSU GEMI to provide easy, cheap and educative capital access for its members. It means a good social development affects the implementation of business finance and viceversa. Second, pragmatism attitude of social entrepreneur that leads to economic matter that give mutual benefits surely can be continiously operated is another finding of this research. Social enterpreneurship combines inovative ideas for social changes that are executed by applying business startegy and skill. Third, the institusionalization of solution or ideas into legal law of cooperation, empowering social entrepreneurship activities make social entrepreneur be able to continiously run sustainable social orientations.
