2017 | Tesis | S2 Magister Administrasi PublikABSTRACT Background : Officials in government organizations have an important role in formulating the vision and mission of the organization, describes the vision and mission into programs that are qualified and able to run programs on target so that the functions of government can work well, for that competence must be improved through the implementation of the leadership training, which is intended to equip the candidates for officers/officials capabilities needed to run the office. Training is considered successful if the participant is able to implement the knowledge, abilities and attitudes gained from the training in the work environment (there is a transfer of training) which are influenced by many factors, such as trainee’s characteristics, design training and working environment. Changes in the pattern of Diklatpim implementation is one way to increase transfer of training through design training. This study tries to see the effect of trainee’s characteristics (personality) and working environment (transformational leadership and organizational culture) on transfer of training. Objective : The objectives of this research is to determine the influence of personality, transformational leadership and organizational culture on transfer of training. Results : Taken together, personality, transformational leadership and organizational culture affect the transfer of training on leadership training level III hosted by Yogyakarta Board of Education and Training of 15.5%. Partially, personality with an internal locus of control and organizational culture significantly affect on transfer of training, whereas transformational leadership did not significantly affect the transfer of training on the leadership training level III hosted by Yogyakarta Board of Education and Training.
