ABSTRACT Problems in this study started with symptoms of religious culturally held in democratization local field, to spread in dimension formal national power. Is Nadhaltul ulama (NU), through a set of culture, might he could set rhythm power in Banyumas, Central Java. But behind its existence, there are things that can not be explained about why Nahdliyin can control the way of power. Various speculation appear, this is the impact of the political dynamics currently, or even spirit Nahdliyin successful put themselves in any political momentum. Certainly, foundation of the power Nahdliyin sturdy stand in the face Culture. Based on it, so this study focused to uncover a process about how reproduction power lasting behind political cultural Nahdlatul Ulama in local democratization on Banyumas. This research is uses a set of theory and the premise Pierre Felix Bourdieu (habitus, capital & field). Grounded in structuralism-genetic, Bourdieu in vision mapping theory explain reproduction value in the field of power (symbolic domination). Nahdliyin placed as a subject who has a history of past and long experience in life through the internalization of values that are passed down from generation to generation. Internalization Java-Islamic sufism value of community Nahdliyin form a system disposition inherent in political practices of democratic field. The success of Nahdliyin supported from a set capital played. Over it, then the analysis approach used in this study is a qualitative method. The qualitative method done to describing the history of thought Nahdliyin in frame culture up capable of pierce dimensions interpretation of power and action upon that power. To prove it, then single case study chosen as an instrument disclosure of facts occurring in Banyumas. Findings from this study concludes that the reproduction power of Nahdlatul Ulama in putting its dominance in Banyumas is done through a strategy of Siyasah. Strategy Siyasah based cultural traditions and ethos placed on a symbolic institution in formal power structure. Nahdliyin involvement both activities in Banyumas be done to avoid the use of Islamic group as a commodity political momentum that when election are implicated in various regions. Based on it, so the logic of the right is “Nahdliyin take over the power”. On one side, success is supported by nahdliyin in their read maps political power in banyumas. Overall the actions of they political unreadable in the scheme of thought or product of the internalization Javanese culture and Islamic Sufism: about Nahdliyin put himself be flexible (moderate) in practice democracy. Therefore, all forms of resistance, war discourse, and negotiations with diverse actors fought for the sustainability of islamic tradition Aswaja in Banyumas until in the future. Thus independency of Nahdliyin will happen and political culturally relevant to practiced in the context of democracy.
