ABSTRACT Scattered information in cyberspace is often found certain hidden political ideology motive behind the information. Some countries in the middle east has felt the impact. The press freedom that offered by the reformation era in Indonesia and the freedom of the speech of the new media, make a number of media and religious background sites is developing rapidly. The press freedom in the online media in Indonesia have no longer cares whether it will have a bad impact for religious people relation or not. Considering Islam as the majority religion in Indonesia, the existence of the Islamic background sites may be able to influence the people. VOA-Islam become one of the islamic background sites that in the vision and mission claims itself as a dakwah media. From the previously research, no one has linking this dakwah media site on political discourse, even though this site reached the peak popularity in the political party (the legislative and presidential election) 2014. Therefore in this research, it will be trying to find out another discourse besides dakwah in the rubric "Berita Politik Indonesia" in the VOA-Islam site. This research will use critical discourse analysis model of VanDjik in viewing VOAIslam text that are packaged like news. The researcher also will use politic definition from Chilton (2004) and political discourse by VanDjik (1998) to determine this Dakwah media discourse is included political discourse or not. From the result of the research, the political discourse is seen clearly that are seen from the mapping of the actors who are play in this site and political action which are seen in the micro/text analysis. The text in rubric "Berita Politik Indonesia" describe the VOAIslam efforts in its involvement seize power that are failed to achieve by the KMP. The statement that are delivered by Wodak (2010) and Luhmann (2000) on a combination of media code is actually happening. VOA-Islam as a dakwah media use mass media mask in this case the press or the news to combines religious (cultural) and political discourse.
