Kebijkan ADIZ (Air Devence Identification Cina sebagai Respon terhadap Anacaman Jepang)

ABSTRACT This thesis is aimed to answer and explain China’s big motivation in applying ADIZ in the East China Sea, especially in Senkaku islands which still have a conflict with Japan. The application of ADIZ is guided to gain Chinese strategic interests in several aspects such as securities, politic, and economy. In securities, China’s ADIZ can strengthen the claim upon Senkaku islands and keep the authority of the area. In political and economical factors, ADIZ can protect natural resource and keep the trade line on the sea in defending the growth of economy, which in further can press and limit the role of Japan in that area through economic power and the control of natural resources. The application of China’s ADIZ also causes significance to the correlation between China and Japan as well as the area stability.
