2016 | Tesis | Ilmu KomunikasiABSTRACT The disclosure of public information (in indonesian : KIP) which has been regulated in Undang-Undang Nomor 14 Tahun 2008 (UU KIP), caused a public organization in Indonesia has the responsibility to providing the information transparently. One of the public organization is The Audit Board of Republic Indonesia (BPK RI), as a public organization who success got the top rank in Pemeringkatan Keterbukaan Informasi Publik held by Komisi Informasi Publik. Based on these, researcher was interested to knows about how the strategy of communication which has been conducted by Biro Humas dan Kerjasama Internasional BPK RI to the implementation of Keterbukaan Informasi Publik. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The result were analyzed based on the theory of public relations by Roland D. Smith. Based on this research, the communication strategy has been conducted in a planned, and in appropriate with the Public Relations Strategic Phase, which Furthermore, this research discovering that the communication in implementation of UU KIP was divided into two ways, external and internal. It is intended to makes the implementation has been running well and comprehensive; can reaching all of the lines who involved in it, that is the public and the internal circles of BPK RI.
