Peranana UNRWA dalam Penanganan Pengungsi Palestina di Libanon Dilihat dari Perspektif Keamanan Manusia

ABSTRACT This study discusses the role of UNRWA as one of the international organizations that deal specifically with the Palestinian refugees residing in the territory of Lebaon . Research is focused to describe the performance of UNRWA in addressing the issue of Palestinian refugees. An overview of the performance of UNRWA is able to present the areas that have been achieved with optimal and fields that have not been optimal views of the components of human security. Judging from the aspects of human security , protracted Palestinian refugee issue in Lebanon shows there are still many problems that occur in spite of UNRWA still present and are needed by the Palestinian refugees . The research looked at the performance of UNRWA to Palestinian refugees in Lebanon from 2007 to 2014 in order to get a fairly decent standard of living and prosperity. Aspects of human security is used to measure the performance of UNRWA so that it can be described the extent to which performance has been optimized and which fields have not worked optimally. In the Human Development Report 1994, human security consists of seven essential elements: 1) the economic security, 2) Food security, 3) Security health, 4) Security environment, 5) Security individually, 6) Social security, 7) of the Political Security Related protection of the freedom of human rights. The results obtained that the role of UNRWA in addressing the issue of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon have demonstrated their performance is not optimal and optimal performance that has been seen from the dimensions of human security, especially resilience of food safety, health and the economy.
