Analisis Kebijakan Korea Utara dalam Merespon Masuknya Korean Wave di Korea Utara

ABSTRAK This research is to analyze the North Korea policy toward Korean Wave. Korean Wave is the spearhead of South Korea to conduct cultural diplomacy in various countries. Seeing the state of North Korea is very closed because of Juche and the situation on the Korean peninsula which is the conflict between North Korea and South Korea, North Korea introduced policies to prevent the entry of Korean Wave to North Korea. The North Korean government issued a policy to execute people who are proven or caught accessing the Korean Wave. But in reality, many North Koreans are still accessing the Korean Wave and even defected from North Korea for open minded after watching South Korean dramas. This research will explain how the influence of the Korean Wave toward North Koreans, and the difficulty of the North Korean government in stemming the influence of the Korean Wave in North Korea.
