Govermentality Wacana Anti PKI Di Dunia Pendidikan

Abstract This paper is going to look at how the workings of power in creating and organizing anti-PKI discourse in education, especially in schools. The author proposes the thesis that the development of anti-PKI discourse that increasingly strengthened in the post-1965 society collective memory to this day not only due to the inheritance of historical memory, but also there is the work of power in the world of education, especially in schools. To prove this thesis, the author uses govermentality approach that has three objects of analysis, namely the rationality of power, technology of power and technology of the self which operates in the world of education. The method of analysis is the method of discourse analysis perspective of post-structuralist discourse assumes that reproduction of discourse can not be separated from the relation between power and knowledge. The data were analyzed in the form of texts written or oral. The scope of the study was the domain of education. Interesting finding of this paper that the workings of power in creating and organizing anti-PKI discourse in education continued as normal, orderly, institutionalized, and systematically-sustainable.
