ABSTRACT This research was initiated on the idea of energy-related issues, especially in the development of nuclear energy in Indonesia. This study discusses the Political Economy in the Development of Nuclear Energy in Indonesia. Key argument of this study is the economic and political interests in the development of nuclear energy in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to describe the dynamics and actors associated with implementation of nuclear energy policy and its importance for policy development of nuclear power plants in Indonesia. This research is qualitative. The collection of data by using observation, interviews and review documents. Based on the survey results revealed that the influence of the interests of actors in the implementation of the policy of nuclear power plants in Indonesia. The actor made up of actors International, national, local actors, both from government agencies, private and non-governmental.
