ABSTRACT INDONESIAN TRADE FACILITATION DEAL WITH ASEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY 2015 CASE STUDY: INDONESIAN PORT CORPORATION JAKARTA The entry of the port in sea freight transportation component in the regional cooperation of the ASEAN Economic Community, particularly to the emphasis of national logistics costs is done to improve the facilitation of transport and logistics services, improve connectivity and infrastructure linkages transport, multimoda, facilitating integrated transportation lines, as well as further liberalisation of the sector, such as seaport or airport for the realization of the ASEAN free trade area potential in full, and enhance the attractiveness of ASEAN as a single investment and production areas and narrow the development gap by lowering the occurrence of entire barriers in business Logistics, covering tax, tariff and non tariff barriers that including infrastructure. As the busiest port, Port of Tanjung Priok service performance managed by PT. Pelindo II (Persero) is still low. The impact is the inefficiency of the port because of the waiting time of ships and goods (dwelling time) is still above four days or an average is five to seven days, the length of the buildup goods in loading and unloading terminal which gives rise to various load rates, and congestion of roads to the ports that have an impact the high cost of logistics. Thus, a key to reduce logistics costs in the sea transport sector is in the harbor with optimize the service of Port of Tanjung by implementing aspects of trade facilitation.
