ABSTRACT Plantation workers in the two hamlets Pagilaran and Kemadang basically live in the same conditions they faced on wages and welfare were low, amid unstable economic conditions like today. Will insistence economic needs and necessities of life that must be met is an integral part of their restraint as laborers. Where economically they live at the level of basic needs only their shortcomings, in two Hamlets Pagilaran and Kemadang time walking in the routine of their life is a cycle of life lived, with no hope for improved welfare.
