For two periods from lead Bantaeng, regent make a special programs that is the coffee break who gave opportunity for every society to be stated every the sigh .The same thing occurs in Bojonegoro district and Soppeng district. But, what distinguishes them Bantaeng district is Bantaeng regent who asks and respond to directly any problem delivered by the community without the representatives of regents .This study attempts to see accommodation communication regent on the Bantaeng community in the coffee break when they interact.A theory that used in this research using communication theory political because it involves the head of the region.Next the theory intercultural communication as between the regent and people have different cultures.And last, the theory accommodation communication having two elements that is the convergence and divergence.To be able to see the convergence and divergence there are several indicator used in this research that in behavior nonverbal and language .This research uses the method descriptive qualitative .Subject in this study was regent and people present in the coffee break at regent Bantaeng home.While this object is the process accommodation communication regent for people within the coffee break when they interact.Coffee break chosen because in the program regent give opportunity to the community to could deliver their complained.All the data was obtained through way observation and documentation. The research results show that accommodation communication that occur between regent and the Bantaeng community in the coffee break tending to lead to accommodation that the convergence .Factors influence it is the desire from the district head for always wanted to know the state of any the people of and have been trying to help the people directly .As for happened divergence because of lack of proficientregent in mimicked language spoken by some societies. So, when regent communicate with the Bantaeng community , regent greater use of accommodation that the convergence .This is to support the success of the event coffee break made by the regent.
