Toleransi Beragama dalam Film Tanda Tanya:(Studi Analisis Wacana Kritis)

Abstract Film "?" (Tanda Tanya) by Hanung Bramantyo, who fall into the category of religious film, has been blocked and banned in Indonesia. This film seeks to question how the conceptualization of tolerance and how efforts to manage diversity in order to create a conducive environment that is reflected in the film "?". Analysis was conducted on the film "?" which was released in Indonesia on April 7, 2011. This study uses a Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), which is a qualitative model of Norman Fairclough. Referring to the approach, the film as an object of research will be discussed in three levels of analysis, namely the subtitles and the film flow, production (discourse text), and the macro context the film. The results showed that the value of living together in the construct in the relations between characters are acting in the film. Bids attitude towards living together in tolerance appears in the film as a reference value. So that relations between the actors is seen as an objective value that becomes a reference or model of living together. Tolerance gives every individual the possibility of accessing resources from other parties are different. The storyline and scenes in this film provokes normal boundaries in relation diverse society. Through the script and plot, the film is trying to raise the diversity in Indonesia. Identity bumping into such a way in the social relations of the different entities. Although the theme of diversity, but the reality is contained in this film can not represent the social reality in Indonesia. Many scenes in the movie "?" is very hyperbolic and do not we meet in practice the diversity of the community. This study shows that tolerance is not necessarily based on tolerance as a value to living together. However, the tolerance in the film "?" is determined by several motives are economic motives, religion, politics and the value of living together. Analysis of figures shows that the motive of strengthening tolerance is the recognition of personal identity and the identity of the other. Tolerance is also a strategy for survival in diversity for the sake of economy, religion, and politics. The study also found that tolerance is not only a question of practicing values (religious and social) but deliberately into the strategy of a group or a person with another group when they are in a diverse society. Scarcity of resources both within the individual political or economic resources are the force so that tolerances can occur. Tolerance gives the possibility for individuals to be able to meet with other individuals to make an exchange.
