Yet, sometimes changes in the organization may affect work performance stability which had been maintained previously and indirectly it may also influence work performance’s accomplishment. One factor that contribute in keeping work performance stability is strong commitment from all organization members. The study aimed to determine the effect of organizational communication climate to organizational commitment according to the perspective of non-structural civil servant and also mapping organizational communication climate factors which may effect on organizational commitment. The research was conducted at The Research Center for Biotechnology and Tree Improvement (BBPBPTH), Sleman in September-October 2015 with survey method. Random sampling was used as a sampling technique while questionnaires were used to 96 respondents for data collection method. Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The result of this study confirm that organizational communication climate has positive effect on organizational commitment. Trust and concern for high performance goals have proved significantly effecting organizational commitment, while listening in upward communication proved significantly not effecting civil servant’s organizational commitment at The Research Center for Biotechnology and Tree Improvement (BBPBPTH).
