Implikasi Modernisasi Militer Cina terhadap Penerapan Strategi Militer Defensif India

ABSTRACT This thesis aims to analyze the sustainability of China’s military modernization and development as a serious threat to India’s security and defense strategies are most benefit for India in the face of such threats. This thesis illustrates the aggressiveness of China in building a modern military force in quality in quantity. The success of China’s military modernization program affect the security order in Asia and encouraging it to be more assertive in dealing with security issues and disputes involving the border regions of China’s neighboring country. India became the most threatened country. The deployment of military forces along China’s provocative action on the border with India, the construction of China’s infrastructure facilities and maritime in Indian Ocean region, as well as the Chinese air combat power superiority over India, as a strong foundation to make China as a major threat for India’s security. India’s responds to the China military threat with upgrading combat weapons and improve the strength of the defense. With the limitations and strength combat capability under China, India implementing defense military strategy because the strategy suit to ability, rationality, geographical location, and more favorable to the situation.
