Identitas Kolektif Femmes Africa Solidarite sebagai Suatu Gerakan Perdamaian di Africa

2015 | Tesis | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalAbstract This thesis aims to analyze collective identity of Femmes Africa Solidarite (FAS) as a peace movement in Africa. There is an idea shifting about women role in a conflict. Women, who were previously considered as victims and combatants, now become actors who have roles in conflict resolution. One of the women’s roles in a conflict is collective action with its own collective identity. This thesis explains collective identity of FAS in 4 aspects: What is our common enemy (for FAS)?; What is the problem?; What is the solution?; and Why us(Women)?. Furthermore, this thesis explains about discourse aspect that is related with FAS founding. Development of feminism idea that started being used in international relation since late 80’s and started being used by social and politic actors since the middle of 90’s is allegedly became a discourse factor that influences the founding of FAS.
