Community Development Around The Corporation (Study about PT. Pertamina Asset 2 Field Adera in Pengabuan Village, PALI, South Sumatra) ABSTRACTION The CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) program became a middle ground for companies, communities, as well as the government in addressing the problems that arise in the gap between the three, especially the companies and communities. Although relatively new,it is actually a kind of partnership program has been running through the CSA CSR (Corporate Social Activity) or "social activity of the corporation". So the corporation should not stutter in developing programs that are primarily in community empowerment. However it turns out, although it has been long enough to know program partnership with the community, there are still problems that arise primarily arise between companies and communities. The same problem occurs in PT Pertamina EP field Adera be less harmonious relationship between the corporation and the community. This research try to provide a comprehensive overview of the CSR program of PT Pertamina EP Adera field using community development approach. Not only that, this research seeks to develop recommendations as well as evaluating the programs run by the corporation. In search of data, researchers used a qualitative method with descriptive approach to look at the dynamics that occur in the empowerment program of PT Pertamina EP Adera field between companies and communities. Therefore, the present study is focusing on the actors either from the corporation or in the community involved in the program as research informants. The research which took place in the Pengabuan village, Pali, South Sumatra, also seeks to provide a systematic overview of the program PT Pertamina EP Adera field and their relationship with society actors. The result showed some problems that arise in the implementation of the program of PT Pertamina EP Adera field in the village of incineration. Some actors within the Pengabuan village feel less involved in program planning. Consequently empowerment program created by a team of PT Pertamina EP Adera field less going well. Not to mention the empowerment effort undertaken by PT Pertamina EP Adera field impressed only to cushion the negative impacts arising in the region. While in the community itself is many have the desire to make the program, but unfortunately they are still not aware of the limitations of their skills in making the program. Hence the need for cooperation and systematic relationship and dialogue between communities and PT Pertamina EP Adera field in realizing a sustainable development program in the Pengabuan Village.
