ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the efficiency of Farmer Empowerment Through Agricultural Technology and Information (FEATI) In Farmer Empowerment. This government policy bertujun increase productivity, incomes and welfare of farm families. Locus of research in FMA Sukomulyo, District Kajoran, Magelang regency as one of the FMA in District 11 being the location Kajoran FEATI implementation in the period 2008 - 2012. Determination locus research using purposive sampling method, the method of determining locus with certain criteria. Participation of members of farmer groups in implementing the technology applied during the study only 58.06%, there is a difference of 1.04% out of the minimum standards required under the provisions of Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, No. 29 / Permentan / OT.140 / 3/2007. Farmer groups have not been able to not give a loan for members of farmers for livestock business, so do not optimal capital collectivity. Collectivity production, associated with mastery learning technologies are applied in FEATI has encouraged farmers to use resources efficiently. Collectivity marketing, related to the efforts of members of farmer groups together to break the chain broker practices, so that farmers will get a value greater benefits. Judging from the costs and benefits, showing that an expense to implement FEATI value in FMA Sukomulyo Rp. 1.4 M and the benefits arising out of Rp. 5.8 M. Thus, execution and implementation in FMA Sukomulyo FEATI efficient, this is evidenced by the ratio of benefits and costs of 3.98. This means that every unit value incurred by farmers will produce 3.98. Keywords: FEATI, empowerment, collectivity, costs and benefits.
